About the Author She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was brought up by her parents, two French teachers. She inherited from her father, his passion for literature, music and voyages. After five years of intensive studies, she obtained, in 1982, a higher French degree, for teaching French as a foreign language. Later, in 1987, she got a Diploma of the University of Cambridge, in English language. But her desire to become a writer pushed her to give up teaching and to devote herself to writing. She is divorced and has three daughters.
About my latest book, Shattered Dreamland: Revised Edition
The story takes place in Port Townsend, Washington, during the Vietnam War at the end of the 1960s. After Jamie Donnelly's wedding, her brother Tony and her husband Nick Devon trigger family drama when they decide to enlist in the Army. Tony shows his bravery in battle camp. Nick is taken prisoner by the Vietcong, and is Missing in Action for almost one year. Jamie, in deep despair, becomes an alcoholic...
